Pickleball

This grant will provide pickleball nets and pickleball paddles for the PE program. Students will get the opportunity to learn a new sport, practice their striking skills, enhance motor skills, and improve social interaction. Pickleball is an inclusive activity that allows students of varying athletic abilities to participate in and find success. The project will improve student relationships by working on teamwork and sportspersonship skills. Introducing students to new sports and activities will further their confidence and interest in lifelong fitness.
